What are Insecto Smoke Bombs used for?
Insecto Smoke Bombs are permethrin fumigators (13.25% permethrin) for clearing pests from an empty grow room between crop cycles. They target whitefly, aphids, spider mites, thrips, fungus gnats, flies, moths, ants, beetles and cockroaches.
Which Insecto Smoke Bomb size do I need?
The Mini 3.5g covers around 7 to 8m3 for mites and crawling pests, the Midi 15g around 30m3 and the Maxi 31g around 60m3. Against flying insects they reach up to 120m3, 500m3 and 1,000m3 respectively.
How do I use an Insecto Smoke Bomb?
Close windows, switch off extraction and stand the canister on a heat-proof surface in the middle of the room. Light the fuse, leave and seal the door for at least 2 hours, then ventilate for 1 to 2 hours before going back in.
Can I use Insecto Smoke Bombs with plants in the room?
No. Use them only in an empty room between crops, because permethrin will damage living plants. Keep people, children, pets and fish out of the room, and cover smoke alarms before lighting.
