These copper discs are for use with the IWS Aqua and Punched Pots

They are used to stop roots from growing out of the pots and into the pipework, potentially causing blockages.

IWS Copper Tube Insert

The IWS Copper Insert Tube is a solid copper fitting designed to prevent roots growing down the pipework, The Insert Tube is placed inside the IWS Standard Tee or IWS Standard Elbow inside the IWS outer pot. These are designed specifically for the IWS Standard Fittings. 

IWS Mesh Individual Pot Filter

These copper mesh filters scre onto the inside of the standard IWS sealing gland, replacing the black plastic nut that goes on the inside of the outer pot.

Copper helps to repel root growth and stock the roots growing down the pipework and blocking the system.
