WHAT IS TANLIN?

Tanlin is an organic, safe, non-toxic pest control additive that is used to keep growing media and root systems free of unwanted visitors. It works on problem pests, such as Fungus Gnat larvae. Using Tanlin breaks the lifecycle of Fungus Gnats, reducing your infestation problem over a short period of time.

HOW DOES TANLIN WORK?

Tanlin is formulated for the treatment of Fungus Gnats, specifically targetting their larvae. Tanlin stops the Fungus Gnat larvae from developing in to adult flies.

Your plant absorbs Tanlin when you add it to the feed (water & nutrient mix). Then, when the Fungus Gnat larvae feed on your plant’s roots, they consume the Tanlin and remain in their current state. The problem-pests eventually die off over a short period of time. Tanlin breaks the lifecycle, reducing, then eliminating your infestation problem.

Garden tip: Tanlin doesn’t work instantly, the Fungus Gnat population will decrease over time, once you start using Tanlin.

WHAT IS THE DOSAGE RATE FOR CX HORTICULTURE TANLIN?

To keep Fungus Gnats at bay, dilute Tanlin to a ratio of: (1:100) = 1 ml (40 drops) per 100 litres.

Gardener’s use Tanlin, mainly for indoor potted plants. It is used as a preventative, or as part of your integrated pest management regime, to ensure a clean pest-free home or indoor garden.
