Growth Technology PH Down (81%- Professional)

Growth Technology pH Down is a stable solution of 81% phosphoric acid. It is used to lower the pH of your nutrient solution. It is a very concentrated product and a little goes a long way.

How To Use pH Down

Always add pH adjustments after you have added all of your nutrients (unless otherwise stated) to your reservoir or watering can, this is because some nutrients and additives can raise or lower the pH.

pH Down is a very concentrated liquid and only a small amount is needed to make changes to the pH of the water. As all water is different there is no set amount you need to add. However as a rough guideline we would recommend to test the pH of the water with a meter before adding any to get a reading then we suggest to start with around 0.25-0.5ml per 10L. Test the pH again to get an indication of the effect it has had and slowly add more until you reach the desired level. pH Down is a very ‘dense’ liquid and needs to be mixed throughly into your water to avoid mis-readings.

IMPORTANT – pH Down is an aggressive liquid and can cause skin burns and eye damage. Always take care when handling it and be sure to read the safety advice on the label.
