What is Growth Technology pH Down made from?
It is a stable solution of 81% phosphoric acid used to lower the pH of your nutrient solution. It is very concentrated, so a little goes a long way.
How much Growth Technology pH Down should I add?
There is no set amount because all water is different. Test your water first, then start with around 0.25 to 0.5ml per 10L, retest and slowly add more until you reach the pH you want.
When should I add pH Down to my reservoir?
Always add pH Down after all of your nutrients have gone in, because some nutrients and additives can raise or lower the pH. Mix it in thoroughly, as it is a dense liquid and can cause misleading readings otherwise.
Is Growth Technology pH Down safe to handle?
pH Down is an aggressive liquid that can cause skin burns and eye damage, so handle it with care and read the safety advice on the label before use.
