It is a fixed temperature propagator that keeps compost at 15 to 20°C under normal conditions, though ambient temperature can affect this. Insulation beneath the carbon heating mat helps hold the heat.
How big is the Stewart Large Heated Propagator?
It measures 52cm x 41.5cm x 28cm, giving plenty of room for trays of seedlings. A smaller Stewart Medium Heated Propagator (38cm) is also available.
How much power does the Stewart Large Heated Propagator use?
It uses a long life 22 watt heater, which uses less power than an ordinary light bulb. A fitted plug is included, but plants and pots are not.
