What does the IWS Flood & Drain Control Unit do?
The Control Unit, or brain bucket, is the heart of an IWS Flood & Drain system. It holds the timer that controls how often the system floods and drains, and it is what the FlexiTank pumps nutrient into before it reaches your pots.
What is the difference between the Standard and Standard Remote IWS Control Units?
The Standard has a fixed 15-minute segmental timer built into the unit for straightforward automated feeding. The Standard Remote adds a remote timer controllable to the minute, so you can fine tune feed timing from outside the grow room.
What does the PRO IWS Flood & Drain Control Unit offer?
The PRO version pairs the remote timer with a Pro-tier brain built for 25mm fittings and faster fill and drain cycles. It is also available as the PRO Brain Only if you already have a compatible timer.
Will this Control Unit work with an IWS Autodrain or Dripper system?
No, these units are for IWS Flood & Drain systems. Autodrain and Dripper systems use a different Control Unit, sized for those systems, listed as IWS Control Units.
